From a young age, I knew I was destined to work with animals. My dream was to become a veterinarian, but as I delved into the field, I realized that it was more about the business side—products, medicines, and profit—than the genuine care and connection with animals that I yearned for. So, I took a different path, one that led me to a deeper understanding of what it truly means to serve and nurture the creatures we share this world with.

​Two Shepherds Sanctuary was born out of this realization and my lifelong passion for animals. But the real spark that set my journey ablaze came from an unexpected encounter. When I was at a low point in my life, the universe sent me a gift—a nest of baby squirrels, abandoned and in desperate need of care. Nurturing these tiny beings back to health rekindled my passion for giving back to nature. It was as if they were sent to remind me of my purpose. Shortly after, Koda came into my life, a dog who had endured unimaginable neglect, tied to a tree for most of his young life. His journey to rehabilitation was not an easy one, but it taught me so much about patience, trust, and the profound ability of animals to forgive and love again.
